Content Creator and Researcher
We are Che&Co., an Investment Management and Consulting Firm dedicated to fostering growth and financial excellence. This project is a core component of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment. We firmly believe that every citizen deserves equal access to opportunities and a fair shot at success. Our Opportunity Awareness Project is specifically designed to eliminate information asymmetry by identifying, verifying, and simplifying complex information about government financial schemes, grants, and subsidized programs.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and tenacious Creator and Researcher to drive this crucial CSR initiative. This full-time, hybrid role requires a unique combination of in-depth research capability, journalistic rigor, engaging content creation skills, and responsive community management. You will be the authoritative, public-facing expert for this high-impact social project.
💰 Compensation & Work Structure
- Salary: NPR 25,000 per month (This is a full-time position).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid—Required to attend the Che&Co. office at least 5 days a week, with the flexibility for remote work on the remaining days.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Specialized Research and Verification
- Targeted Research: Systematically track and identify government opportunities, focusing intently on financial schemes, subsidized/concessional loans (e.g., NRB programs), grants, seed capital, and free training programs (e.g., CTEVT).
- Information Verification: Crucially, verify the authenticity and accuracy of opportunities by liaising directly with relevant government bodies and implementing commercial banks.
- Document Simplification: Translate complex policy documents, official ‘Karya Bidhi’ (कार्यविधि), and bureaucratic language into clear, simple, and accessible Nepali and English content.
2. Content Creation
- Video Production: Conceptualize, script, film, and edit simple yet compelling video content that clearly explains the purpose, eligibility, and step-by-step application process of specific government schemes.
- On-Camera Presence: Must be comfortable and confident being the face of the project in front of the camera.
3. Social Media Management & Community Engagement
- Query Management: Promptly and accurately respond to all viewer queries, comments, and messages across social media platforms, strictly using verified data and facts obtained from official sources.
- Guidance and Referral: Direct viewers on how and who to contact (e.g., the specific scheme’s Information Officer, official bank branch) for detailed follow-up.
🎯 Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Exceptional command of both English and Nepali (written, spoken, and comprehension).
- Educational Background: A degree in Law, Policy, Social Sciences, Media Studies, or Arts. (If you are currently enrolled in a degree and can commit a minimum of 5 hours a day, you can apply).
- Experience: Prior experience in content creation, journalistic research, or media handling is preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Proven proficiency with content creation and editing tools (CapCut, Canva, InShot, etc.).
