Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong passion for corporate law and policies pertaining to businesses and startups in Nepal. We are looking for a candidate who is a recent graduate and possesses prior internship or traineeship experience in a relevant field. However, we also encourage final year students who can dedicate themselves to full-time employment. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Nepali languages is essential.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate law and relevant policies relating to businesses and startups in Nepal.
– Analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, budgets, and policies to extract pertinent information and provide insightful recommendations.
– Prepare reports, memos, and presentations summarizing research findings and their implications for the company and its clients.
– Draft legal documents, contracts, agreements and other documents as instructed.
– Stay updated on changes in Nepalese laws and regulations impacting businesses and communicate relevant updates to the team.
– Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create compelling content that simplifies complex legal concepts and ensures its dissemination across all relevant platforms.
– Write blogs, articles, and other write-ups on a daily basis, addressing key legal issues and developments impacting businesses in Nepal.
– Communicate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to gather up-to-date information about policies, laws, and directives affecting the business landscape.
– Work closely with companies under Che&Co’s portfolio and its clients as instructed by the Director, providing legal research and support tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
Qualifications:
– Recent graduate with a degree in law or related field.
– Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
– Passion for corporate law and a desire to empower businesses through legal knowledge.
– Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Familiarity with digital platforms and social media for communication and advocacy purposes.
